Duty Site
What's changing?
To ensure our patients will have prompt access to a specialised healthcare professional and the services they need, we will be concentrating our specimen drop off and front desk services at one site. This will assist us in providing a focused, patient management service offering a safe and effective treatment environment.
The same number of nurse and GP appointments will be available at both sites, this is not changing.
From the 14th of October this year, the DUTY site will alternate between the Brockenhurst and Sway surgeries.
What is the DUTY surgery?
-
The DUTY GP will be on site
- You will be able to drop off samples, e.g. urine and poo
- A Patient Coordinator will be available at the front desk for your queries
-
The DUTY surgery will remain open until 6pm
-
Emergency calls only from 6-6.30pm
What is a non-DUTY site?
-
Appointments as normal
-
Samples will need to be deposited to the DUTY surgery
-
For front desk queries to a Patient Coordinator, visit the DUTY site
